Every so often something we post will trigger the anti-vaccination community. I will be displaying these in sections. The first section are messages an admin received after she posted a picture to her own profile. In this picture she had business cards from vacinfo in her garbage. That is all. THAT. IS. ALL.
These images also came from from the same time frame.
Backstory: An admin became angry Halloween night 2017 when reading many posts from parents complaining their kids were handed these anti-vaccination cards while trick or treating. So this admin advised those on several of these posts to do what she does, email the website with the cards, request your free order of them, then throw them in the garbage when they arrive. Eventually if enough people do this often enough the site will be forced to charge for the cards, which will cause fewer anti-vaxers to order them, thus making fewer available to be hidden in store products, on car windshields, at schools, in doctors' offices, pharmacies, etc.. It seems her idea has worked since we rarely, if at all, hear a news story about someone finding one of these cards in products bought from the store.
This harassment went on for just over 7 days consistently, and about a month on a much less frequent basis. During this time the admin did not message a single anti-vaxer, did not tag or post to one, did not friend request one, did not make contact of any kind with any of them. The only things she had done was make that suggestion, post a pic on her own page showing the cards in her garbage, and posted a few screen shots of the threats she seen they were making about her and toward her. She posted those pics redacted and in a pro-vax page and group, as well as on her own page. She didn't even respond to any of the message requests above. She did however respond to some in the third section.
The admin also posted a pic of the vacinfo cards, but edited to show more accurate info. The original design was done on the laptop, and was slightly different than what is pictured below. Only because now we have new contact info, the rest is the same however. After seeing how upset they had become, we went ahead and had some printed up.
