By Erin K Costello For those of you who follow our Facebook page What’s The Harm?, or our sister page NO MAM, you probably seen several posts made due to MAM (Modern Alternative Mama) and her absurd behavior. For those of our readers who are unfamiliar with MAM let me suggest you begin with our very first post to become acquainted with the queen of hypocrisy. For everyone else who is curious about what exactly happened this past week, let me explain. Ohio State Legislature, specifically the house Health Committee, heard opposition testimony on HB559 May 23, 2018. HB559 proposes to change a few things but the part of this bill that has caused all this upset is the part that changes how parents obtain religious exemptions and conscientious objections to vaccinations. They don’t lose the ability to get either exemption, they just simply will have to discuss the risks with a qualified health care professional before they are granted their exemption. This is the state’s way of making sure these parents understand the risks of their decisions. Naturally MAM wan’t too pleased. She started out by posting to her public personal page screen shots of comments she left on the Ohio chapter AAP’s Facebook page. Notice below how no one approached her on social media, she approached this page. Eventually the page had removed her comments. That’s when she becomes angry. I guess it’s acceptable for MAM fo ban people from her public page and delete comments but no one has the right to the same to MAM. She then makes a post about her hurt feelings. She then posted to her personal page and to her closed Facebook group a request for her followers and members to seek out the Ohio AAP’s CEO. MAM also included this woman’s email address on the post and asked her readers to contact her to “educate” this woman. MAM’s revenge for her comments being removed from the AAP page is to then harass their CEO and sick her army on this woman as well As you’ve noticed I’ve redacted the CEO’s email, name, and pics since I don’t want to add to any harassment she has had to endure. It wasn’t long before her post doxing the CEO was removed from Facebook for violating community standards. It seems that many people on Facebook thought her post was harassment and reported it to Facebook. Naturally after she was made aware of this she had to make yet another post. As well as another post. Yet another post. Then a blog post which I already covered in my previous post on the website. It seems as though the prospect of talking with a qualified health care professional before receiving an exemption for vaccination isn’t the issue MAM had against this bill all along. It looks as though her REAL issue is having done to her what she does all the time to anyone who holds a different viewpoint on-line than MAM holds. It appears as though the action that she isn’t tolerating is being undermined and silenced, not being required to hold a conversation with a physician or nurse before having her exemption signed. I would think that someone who claims to demand “informed consent” would welcome the opportunity to become more informed by speaking with an expert. Of course I’d be wrong to think this as becomes clear with the next screens shots. These are all threads from some of MAM’s friends and like minded pages. This now brings me to the end, or at least the most recent rather. It appears that MAM, now having to use a profile with the name of Frankie Gray, has been placed in Facebook jail for doxing the AAP CEO. For some reason she has decided to blame our Facebook page What’s the harm, and our sister page NO MAM. Along with the pages she is also blaming, and directing her minions to come after, two women in particular. I, Erin K Costello, am one of those women, and the other is a Facebook user named Sally Newton. MAM may have made a mistake in targeting Sally however. Out of respect for Sally’s privacy I will not confirm or deny any association she may or may not have with any of our pages or our website. I also don’t desire to help MAM out by providing such information in any regards. This whole ordeal began when MAM decided to troll pages that showed support for HB559, then progressed when they made it clear they didn’t want to, nor didi they have to give her the audience on their Facebook page. Then once MAM was made aware of this, as well as aware that subsequent posts from her showed her to be in the wrong and were removed, she decided those responsible for calling her out were to blame for her behavior, and she set out to make them pay. The AAP, the CEO, NO MAM, What’s The Harm, myself, nor Sally Newton sought out MAM in any way, nor did we aim to harass her on her either of her pages or her group. The objective of this bill and all those listed above is not to harass MAM. Our objective is to advocate on behalf of minors who are unable to yet make medical decisions for themselves, One way we can all do this is by encouraging these parents to learn about the real risks involved by refusing vaccinations as well as learn the dangers in believing false and misguided information. Our objectives, Ohio AAP’s objectives, and other supporters of this bill's objectives is sought after on behalf of those who can not yet speak for themselves. MAM’s concerns focus solely on herself and her ability to spread nonsense in order to feed her ego and narcissism. Not one post of hers, nor comment, speak on behalf of children or the rights of children. It’s all about MAM.
